Love this book. The unusual shape of the cover is ideal for travel and reminds you that it is a special book, not just a usual book. Printed on great paper. The introduction of this book is full of great lessons and the importance on liturgy. My only complaint is that the spine is a bit rigid. Perhaps with some use it will become better. But for now, it takes too much effort (two hands) to keep it open on a page, making it a bit inconvenient when using it during chants.
I considered purchasing this for several months and finally did. It allows me to chant using the manual and the sounds from the Monastery mp3. I feel more a part of the sanga now.
I sit with a group here in Columbus and they use a manual for chants etc. I wanted a slightly better made book and found it in this. The translations are slightly different, which brings new insight into meaning and intent for me.
