If you like the support and cushiness of our Mountain Seat cushions, you'll love our all-foam zabuton, The Cloud. It's made of two inches of firm foam topped by an inch of memory foam to perfectly conform to your body, giving you just the right amount of support and loft. The removable cotton twill cover is machine-washable. Is it possible for a meditation mat to be too comfortable? We don’t think so. But don’t take our word for it. Try it and let us know what you think. Made in the USA.
29” long x 31” wide x 3” high.
Please choose Black, Charcoal, Chocolate, Navy, Burgundy, Cinnamon, Sage or Saffron.

Game-changer for extended sits. Great size, soft but still firm enough to feel supported.
Let me start by saying the Cloud Zabuton is very well made howeverI am not sure if I would have been better with the Mountain Seat with foam on top of firm cotton batting. I sit in seza with a bench and I found that the foam compresses under the bench legs to the point that I had to raise up the seat cushion in order to have the height right for me. I also tend to have the top half of my feet/toes over the back edge of the mat and the foam edge created a pressure point that was quite uncomfortable. That being said I was able to easily ease the edge of the foam with a knife (cut at a slope) and raise up my bench seat a couple of inches and the zabuton is now quite comfortable and I am very happy with it. I suppose I could have returned it and tried the mountain seat instead but… Anyway just as a caveat for those who sit seza style – however your mileage my vary.
I couldn't be happier. Well-made, cushiony support, and a nice color. Great for the knees! I use this daily with my zafu.
My first home zabuton, ever! Been sitting on a blanket, on a rug, for close to 15 years, and my legs (both in their late 50s) finally said "hey, a little metta, please?" I didn't want a big lumpy zabuton disturbing my feng shui...you grok me in fullness? This zabuton...perfect! Clean lines, flat surface, and it sometimes feels like I'm floating on a cloud in the spacious sky of my mind...and then I realize I fell asleep. Hmmm. "Too" comfortable??? Nonsense! We just need to drink more matcha! :-)
I was a bit hesitant to pay so much for a zabuton, but it turned out to be a really great investment in my meditation practice. Night and day difference from meditating on the carpet vs. on this cushion. I'm not very flexible so the extra cushion allows me to not have any pressure points on my ankle, toes, etc...makes for a much more comfortable seat. Would definitely recommend it. I got the navy and it is a very nice color.
The monastery’s store zabuton is very well made with a durable and washable cover. The fill is firm and comfortable. I like it a lot and have purchased more after my first one.
I moved from sitting on the carpet to sitting on this zabuton and it is so much nicer (I use the memory foam side). I would like to remind any prospective buyers to note the physical dimensions. I am 6'1" with longer legs and my knees *almost* go off the edge, but not quite. That being said, it feels absolutely wonderful, it's so comfortable! Great job guys.
I am getting older, and am less flexable than I used to be. I use this mat, not only for zazen, but also for stretching. I am very happy with my purchase, and would recommend the Cloud Zabuton to anyone who practices zazen.
I came back from an 11 day sit with sores on my knees after sitting seiza on a kapok zabuton. This zabuton is so much better.
