Manjushri is the bodhisattva associated with insight. His name means "Gentle Glory". Manjushri is posed with a flaming sword and Book of wisdom on a lotus flower. This statue is ivory color, with an antiqued coating that will deepen with exposure to direct sunlight. Made by a family of sculptors in Oregon, the statues are filled with a mixture of resin and natural Oregon Limestone.
Statue is one sided, the back is flat.
